Want to try something new and unique for your next barbeque? Surprise your guests with a grilled pizza – one of the latest trends in outdoor cooking! And with Boboli, everyone can customize the pizza for their tastes with their own toppings. Try these pizza grilling tips for a perfectly grilled pizza every time.

Preparation:

  • We recommend a Boboli Thin or 100% Whole
    Wheat Crust for your grilled pizza to ensure the
    toppings are cooked throughout.
  • Make sure all the meat on the pizza is cooked before placing the fully-prepared pizza on the grill.

Instructions for Grilling:

  1. Lightly brush the top (cheese side) of the Boboli crust with extra-virgin olive oil.
  2. Place oiled side down on medium-heat grill, with a closed cover, for 1-2 minutes or until
    grilled side is golden or toasted.
  3. Remove crust from grill, flip over and top the grilled side. Use fewer toppings than when baking a pizza, or else the crust will cook before toppings are melted.
  4. Place crust back on grill over indirect medium heat (or on a piece of aluminum foil) for 3-4 minutes with cover closed. Find a balance between keeping the cover closed so the heat gets to the toppings, and also keep an eye on the pizza so the bottom doesn’t burn.
  5. Cook until cheese is melted and crust is golden, cook times may vary.
